Genz-Ryan opened its doors back in 1950, when Louis Genz, his wife Greta and John Ryan, along with his mother Rose started the company.

Over the years the family business grew and in 1997 sons, Dan, Mike, Bob and Jon assumed leadership of the company and the tradition of integrity and innovation continued. As new technologies that made our lives more comfortable become available, Genz-Ryan was the first to introduce them to homeowners across the Twin Cities area.
Today, Genz-Ryan is an industry leader in plumbing, heating, cooling, remodeling and indoor air quality. The company is also recognized as real innovators and the first to master new services and products including ultra energy efficient heating and cooling systems, and tankless water heaters.
To continue to deliver the ultimate in total home comfort the Genz-Ryan Design Center is a 7,000 square foot fully functional, interactive kitchen, bath, heating and cooling showroom. It is a showcase of the finest name brand products, fixtures, toilets, spas, radiant floor heating and everything you need for your home from a simple upgrade, to major remodeling or new construction.
