Genz-Ryan has come a long way since its inception in 1950. Initially founded by Louis Genz, his wife Greta, John Ryan, and his mother Rose, as a small family-owned business, it was driven by a simple yet powerful goal: to provide top-quality services while ensuring uncompromising customer satisfaction. This commitment laid the foundation for their success for generations to come.
Our Story
In 1997, the leadership of the company transitioned to the capable hands of John Ryan’s sons: Dan, Mike, Bob, and Jon. Under their guidance, the company continued its tradition of integrity and innovation. Embracing new technologies, Genz-Ryan became pioneers in introducing cutting-edge solutions to homeowners across the Twin Cities area. Over the years, Genz-Ryan expanded its services beyond plumbing to include heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions. Their dedication to staying ahead of the curve led them to master new products and services, such as ultra-energy-efficient HVAC systems and tankless water heaters, cementing their reputation as industry leaders and innovators.
In 2017, Jon Ryan assumed sole ownership of Genz-Ryan, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. Under his visionary leadership, the business embarked on a path of innovation and expansion. That very year, Genz-Ryan enhanced its service offerings by incorporating electrical solutions into its portfolio. This strategic decision underscored the company’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of homeowners and providing holistic solutions for residential properties.
