What is HomePulse?
HomePulse is a technology that predicts issues within your home’s heating and cooling system BEFORE they happen. We place sensors inside your furnace and air conditioner, conducting a continuous stream of over 19,000 measurements per second. This data uses advanced machine learning to predict potential problems, like having a personal “check-engine light” for your HVAC equipment to ensure that you have heating and air conditioning on the coldest nights and the hottest days.
We’ll install the HomePulse diagnostics device to your system, and HomePulse proactively monitors your system remotely 24/7/365 and instantly notifies Genz-Ryan of any issues BEFORE THEY HAPPEN. We’ll send out our service team to fix any problem parts before your little issue gives you a sleepless night or derails an evening at home with friends and family.
The best part? We’re here with a GUARANTEED 24-hour response and a GUARANTEED 2-hour appointment window. Your peace of mind comes with a fixed monthly fee that includes repair costs. No more waiting days or weeks for your repair and waiting all day at home for a service technician to arrive.

Why Are Routine HVAC Services Important?
Sticking to a schedule for your heating and cooling equipment offers many different advantages that homeowners can’t afford to overlook, including:
- Improved energy efficiency: Routine HVAC maintenance helps ensure your heating and cooling systems operate efficiently. Clean filters, well-lubricated components, and properly calibrated systems can lower energy consumption and reduce utility bills.
- Extended equipment life span: Ensuring proper operation with HomePulse can extend the life span of your HVAC equipment. By addressing minor issues before they become significant problems, you can avoid costly repairs or premature replacement of your system.
- Enhanced air quality: Cleaning or replacing air filters through Genz-Ryan’s filter program helps improve indoor air quality by removing dust, allergens, and contaminants. This is particularly important for individuals with allergies or respiratory conditions.
- Consistent indoor comfort: Properly maintained HVAC systems are better at maintaining a consistent and comfortable indoor environment. You’ll experience fewer temperature fluctuations and hot/cold spots throughout your home.
- Eliminate breakdown risk: HomePulse identifies and addresses potential issues before they happen, essentially eliminating the likelihood of unexpected and premature breakdowns. This can save you from discomfort and emergency repair costs.
- Manufacturer warranty protection: Many HVAC manufacturers require regular maintenance as a condition for warranty coverage. Keeping up with maintenance ensures your warranty remains valid, saving you money on future repairs.

- Homeowner understands that all costs related to repairs and maintenance, cleaning, and any work completed under the HomePulse Aware Plan are the responsibility of the homeowner. The Aware Plan provides benefits for monitoring of the HVAC system. If an issue is detected, Genz-Ryan will inform homeowner via phone and/or digital communication of the alert, and will recommend a service appointment to evaluate the system. Upon full diagnosis, the technician will present the homeowner with options for repair, or replacement, and it will be the homeowner’s decision whether or not to complete the recommended repairs, including a membership discount. Should the homeowner refuse to make repairs, the $49 service fee will be collected, and the homeowner will have no other fees associated with the visit.
- If there is a communication problem between the installed HVAC system(s) and the thermostat(s) for any reason, HomePulse and its related equipment will be unable to detect any issues as there will be a lack of call for heating/cooling;
- Service Technicians and Service Providers must have safe access to, and safe working conditions at and around, the appliances and equipment, or service may be declined. Safety and access of the work area is at the sole discretion of the Service Technician or Genz-Ryan management.
